On Thursday, 19 March, the Executive Board of the German Research Centre for Geosciences GFZ decided for “minimal operations” from Monday 23 March for an initial period of 14 days until 5 April inclusive.
GEOFON continues to operate with 100% staff teleworking. Data archive and earthquake monitoring operating normally but disruptions might occur. Planned maintenance activities involving travels of GEOFON and Partners staff are suspended.
“Minimal operations” extended until further notice, presence in office scheduled according to the safety rules, most of the people still telecommuting.
